There are many costs involved with keeping the cats fed, safe and healthy Contributions will go primarily toward veterinary care and food. Other costs involve straw bales, building supplies, and other infrastructure.
Our cats all receive any medical care that they need. Some of our cats have had infections in their mouths from dental problems- this is expensive to treat! Other incidences have involved several cases of FIP and abscesses. Some of our long-haired cats need to go in for grooming once in a while.
We are so lucky to have a couple of local veterinarians who are willing to work on feral cats. We really appreciate that there are doctors out there who understand that these cats deserve help, too.
