Ear Tip Ranch is an 8 acre sanctuary where unadoptable (feral / community) cats live out their lives with food, water, medical care, and love. Cats are brought in to the ranch for different reasons. Since relocation of a feral cat should be considered a LAST resort, these cats all had to be moved from their original home for some reason: usually a safety or health issue. Some of our cats were on their last day at the shelter before being euthanized. Some were from dedicated cat colonies whose caretakers moved. Others were very unsafe at their location, and taken out of situations where cats were being killed.
The personalities of our kitties are all different: some are truly feral, and you might not ever see them, or just see them at night. Others are very friendly, meaning, they might have been in a home at some point in their lives. Many are somewhere in between. A cat labeled “feral” simply means it was not socialized to humans- it does not mean the cat is aggressive or mean, it is just afraid. If you are quiet and still at Ear Tip, the cats will gather around you, encircling you from a distance. They are very interested in us, and grateful for the food and care, but still fearful enough to keep a distance! (Except for Marcel and Tanny. They will be on your lap)

All of our kitties have been spayed or neutered, and are vaccinated. There are fields and forest to play in, and barns and insulated shelters for winter months. There is even a pond with an island, where they enjoy watching ducks.
Here at Ear Tip Ranch, we believe that in an ideal world, every cat would have a warm, loving, indoor home. Until that day, the best way to deal with outdoor cats is to TNR them: Trap-Neuter-Return. This method has been shown to humanely reduce cat populations. Still, there are just sometimes those cat “exceptions” that can’t go back to their original home. We provide this kind of place, but also hopefully set an example to others who might be interested in sharing their back yard, barn, or shop with some community cats.

Omg I just visited and brought little raven in to your enchanted grove and pride of felines, I’m in love and shall always support you all with every ounce of might. ❤️ All the cats are extremely happy here and are loved and cared for. They have a truly amazing care taker and any one who ends up here is lucky and has been given a gift. I hope to support everyone here for as long as I live. Definitely donate to this amazing cause.
